So its really late on Monday night and just getting around to posting my Home sing Monday meme from Nan .. Make sure to check out her post here as always i enjoyed it..

So what am I doing to make my home sing .. Remember that Mountain of laundry ive been discussing for over a month.. My sweet hubby folded it ALL on Sunday and i put it away. I woke up this morning feeling almost my self again.. THANK GOD... I did dish's , swept, mopped, Yesterday I canned pickles made from our Garden Cumbers, cut up okra , squash and bell peppers and put them in the freezer, I even tackled a pile of phone calls that needted to be made.. SO it feels good to be able to function again. I am so tired though.. I m guessing I may have overdone it a little.. but my home is at least humming .lord willing and the rest of week if i feel like i did today the house should be back in order by next monday.. also PLEASE PLEASE pray for Stellan.. you can check out the latest on him HERE.

Microwavable bacon from Oscar Myer...it make super fast prep time for breakfast or a lunch sandwich.

Friday Photo Flashbacks

Time for another flashback from Alicia.

This is a pic of me when i was about five and the other on my sixth birthday . I have for the most part of my life had really long hair.. i didn't get my first hair cut till i was about 12. and then it was just dead ends trimmed off. and currently it is past the middle of my back.

this is my FAV pic of my daddy and ME. I miss him everyday .
im not sure how old i am i think fifth grade.

What do you want to NOT have to share with other people.

Just a recent pet peeve of mine.Since I found out I am expecting another baby and we have started to tell people the top questions I get are #1 Dont you know what is causing that? YES I DO and i LIKE IT!!! and #2 Are you goin to get "fixed"? Am i a dog? is there a law that says if you have the means to take care of a child you cant have as many as God will Bless you with? I want to NOT have to answer these people's stupid questions and then defend the decisions my husband and myself have made after much thinking and praying. Why cant they just say congrats and move on ??? Hubby and I recently paid off all our debt except the 15, 000 we owe the bank for our land, bought a new to us a 1997 SUV and paid cash for it and the 6 months of insurance. Hubby has found steady work again and I am saving us more money by staying home with the kids and i get to raise them myself. We clip coupons , buy things on sale and in bulk. and I use cloth diapers and we eat a lot of farm raised meat and veggies, with only a few bills such as electric, phone and dish, and our land payment we do just fine. We may not be RICH but we are wealthy because we have love and each other. Why cant people just see that instead of judging us? Well im climbing off my soap box to go fix lunch..

nothing i was to sick to cook ..my lovely sister did all that..

Homemaking Tip for this week:
Let you sister clean your house , Its a nice break..although id trade this TERRIBLE morning sickness for the ability to be out of the bed and normal functioning.

making your home sing monday

I'm still not doing a whole lot. The only thing I m doing to make my home sing this week is raiding my father in laws garden for tomato's cucumbers, okra, corn , green beans, squash and bell pepper and potato's and then freezing or canning them for the winter and we also got two baby pigs to raise for meat. so im just trying to get back on my feet. I m having a serious amount of morning sickness with this baby and can hardly get out of bed.make sure and check out Moms' the word for a great post about hubby's.

Thanks Mckmama after what awoke to this morning I really needed a place to write what my perfect little angel WOULD NOT do.

My darling 3 yr old would never climb over the baby gate, go into the kitchen make her self a cup of O.J. spill it all over the floor, then get a bowl and some fruit loops and pour the O.J. in the bowl and then Drag it into my living room (freshly mopped) and proceed to "enjoy" herself made breakfast.

Then she defiantly wouldn't come back to the bedroom where i was folding laundry and say good morning mommy i made a little mess for you .

My 19month old would also never remove his diaper and finger paint on his wall in his own B.M. (SUPER GROSS) and then laugh when I discover what he did.. why do kids do that it just icky..

My three yearold was asked to pick up a few toys from their bedroom floor and then look at me and say "mommy YOU pick them up if you want them picked so fast"..
What is wrong with these children today why do they have such attitudes where are the calm , loving , always compliant ones i put to bed last night and how do i get them back? I hate having to be what my daughter refers to as "the mean mommy" and GASP .. SPANK yup i said it SPANK my kids. I believe if you dont start now you wont be able to control them when they are older.

My 19 month old did try to fix a hair brush i dropped and broke the handle off of this am. .. he was holding the two pieces together and saying " broke broke" . It was SO cute.

Here are some pics of my grandparents. The First one is of my maternal grandparents both have passed now. but i LOVED my papa so much i wish he could have spoiled my kids the way he did me.
And these are my paternal grand parents, my grandfather is dead and i was never that close to him as he was one to "abuse" his granddaughters if he was left alone with them and My sweet grandma the only living grandparent i have. I feel so sorry for her six of her seven children have died before her, she is now in a nursing home and i go visit as often as i can. I love her so much and it is ALL her fault im so addicted to crocheting she taught me when i was 8 How to crochet.. most the time when i visit i take my most current project with me and show her.

baby news

well i went to my first doctors appointment today and had a ultrasound done and..
there is one ONE baby and my due date is Feb, 13,2010 which is a saturday and since i will have a scheduled c-section and he only "scheldules them on tuesday i am guessing this little peanut will be here on Feb. 9th , but i would prefer the 11th since that is our special date.. Unless things go airy like they did with Gus and i get pre eeclamsia and have to be delivered early .Hubby is pulling for the 12th since that will be the 5 yr anniversary of the day we met.. But i dont see that happening I have NEVER carried a baby to 40 weeks, Miah was born at 38 weeks and Gus at 36 weeks SO i am goin to say with confidence by VALENTINES DAY if all goes well we will have a new little baby to cuddle.. I m so excited and TERRIFIED.. i will have 3 children, 3 and under.. (WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING) Also I registered Miah for preschool today , I m kinda sad that she is getting so big so fast .. she got to see the class room and the playground and was so excited.. i Know i will cry the first morning i drop her off.. I dont know if her mommy is big enough for her to go to school yet.. and what am i goin to do with just gus home all day alone? its been so long since i just had one child I'll be lost, I guess i could put him in daycare and then id BE ALONE ALL DAY.. just imagine how much house work i could get accomplished (haha i mean how long i could nap) in one day .. well speaking of nap it is my bed time Ive been really sick at my tummy today and have a little bit of heartburn.. so im off to bed..

What do you wish you could adjust around YOUR schedule, instead of the other way around?

I want to adjust.. when i get morning sickness, like right before i go to bed so i can get my stuff done during the day and just sleep though it.

making my home sing monday

So it is another monday and time for Making my home sing monday .. Check out Mom's the word for her blog about planning to fail..

As for making my home sing this week it is catching up on laundry.. Why do i let it get so piled up ? why do i hate folding and putting it away so much? these questions i dont have the answer to but.. i did get my kitchen and livng room spring cleaning completely finished this weekend and now both rooms are clutter free and spotless( until the kids wake up ) . every room in my house is singing except my bedroom (where all the laundry is ) so if anyone is in the area and LIKES to fold laundry feel free to email me for directions..LOL.. also i had a wonderful visit with my best friend lisa and her family today as they came and we grilled hotdogs swam at the lake all day and then had grilled burgers and fries for supper before they had to leave.. it was really good to get to talk to another adult other than my husband who is on the same page as myself. her kids are 5 and 4 so kinda around my kids ages and ive known lisa since kindergarden that is like 25 yrs.. so we have fun when we can get together we dont see each other that often and it was nice to just relax for a day .. so that is why my home is singing .. good friends and good times..

So it time for Not Me Monday.

So I would Never let my sister watch my kids while I ran errands with hubby just for some alone time with him.
I would then never turn around and send said kids for a weekend at nanny's for MORE alone time with the hubby . Then sleep most the day while he worked on around the house projects.
I would NEVER start five new crochet projects with a deadline for them to be finished by sept 9th so i could enter them in the county Fair.
I also would NEVER take my daughter pageant dress shopping for a Christmas pageant dress in July .I would also NEVER find the perfect one and put a deposit on it.
I would Never completely abandon my cloth diapers for disposables for a entire week cause i was to sick at my stomach to have to clean them out and wash them.
AND I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD never USE MY MORNING SICKNESS TO LAY ON THE COUCH , DO NOTHING AND THEN HAVE HUBBY DRIVE ME IN TO TOWN AND EAT AT MY FAVORITE PLACE CAUSE IT WAS ALL I HAD BEEN CRAVING AND THOUGHT I COULD STOMACH.(two days in a row) ..NOPE NOT ME!!! well it is time for me to NOT go to bed since it is NOT 1 am and i am NOT still awake cause i DIDNT Sleep all morning and did not send hubby to go pick the kids up from nanny's.. well i hope you all have a good week.

I put a dryer sheet in the bottem of the garbage can to help control the smells.and under the couch cushions

making my home sing monday

This week at my house my house is badly out of tune. I have been down and out with the "morning sickenss " all last week and got NOTHING done. My sister has been staying with us the fast few weeks and has done any house work that got done, I have a pile to dig out of. I feel just like Mom's the Word post is a ditto of my feelings this week..So check it out. so I hope I feel well enought to get something accomplished this week.

So here are some pics from Last years forth of july camp out by the river.
Every Year hubby's family gathers at the cabin by the river and his cousin has a commercial fireworks licenses so every one (around 250 ppl) each pitch in around 20 bucks a piece) and he buys and sets them out. it is sorta a yearly family reunion and we have a HUGE BBQ and float the river and have a potluck lunch .We have great time, there is always softball, volleyball ,ton of four wheelers, horseshoes. and overall good time.I cant believe how much the kids have grown since then .. Gussy was so LITTLE.. ..and we are most definitively attending again this year so I will be spending all day today preparing to take a 3 yr old and 1 yr old camping. not a small fete. so i better get off here and get a start on it.. i hate packing for trips..
