Happy Homemaker Monday

hhm

The weather in my neck of the woods:
Still pretty hot.. love the days it rains

One of my simple pleasures:
a day alone with no hubby and kids..

On my bedside table:
baby books, crochet patterns, a ball of yarn, earplugs, cordless phone.

On my TV:
nascar race

On the menu for tonight:
Sloppy joes

On my To Do List:
dish's , laundry ,clutter in living room and kids room

New Recipe I tried last week:
roasted corn cobs on the grill..YUMMY ..

In the craft basket:
baby afghan, a layette set.some for sweet little maggie(read Prayer request)

Looking forward to:
No more morning sickness...

Homemaking Tip for this week:
tackle big projects a little at a time.. they dont seem so overwhelming and set "easy goal" then when you accomplish them easily you get a confidence boost and can do more than if you set a huge unreachable goal.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
Mine about my wonderful hubby and his "daddy Day"

Favorite photo from last week:
This is a old pic actually take before Ieven knew him of my hubby but he still looks exactly the same, Its only 5yrs old.. I LOVE THIS MAN!!!!

Lesson learned the past few days:
dont let little boys run around with out a diaper they will pee in your floor and laugh at you ..

On my Prayer List:
A little girl named Macy who has cancer, braxton also has cancer he is the same age as gus and has neoroblastoma, and my self that i get to feeling back to my self the morningsickness is rearing its ugly head again, and my friend Crissy .. She had her baby yesterday at 29 weeks, she called this morning to say her and the baby are well baby Maggie is breathing on her own and in nicu but Please pray for them..

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.Proverbs 3:5
this is my FAV bible verse ever
