Making my home sing monday

Making your home sing Mondays

Check out Mom's the Word for more Monday's

My house is SLOWLY getting back in order , the morning sickness has subsided for now, I'm hoping gone for good and Ive been able to almost catch up on s a few things. I ve got most my dish's finished, cleaned out the fridge and freezer, organized the living room and kitchen and worked out a system for getting my 3 yr old out the door in a timely fashion for preschool. I lay her clothes out the night before, the nine , socks panties, backpack everything.. It makes it so much easier. We are up brush our teeth and hair get dressed and out the door. Since I only have one toddler at home until Feb,when then new baby comes Ive been sorta lost but managing to stick with our routine . While he naps the house is SO quite , Ive napped my self or cleaned uninterrupted.. THAT IS RIGHT is said it .NO DISTRACTIONS well except the occasional chocolate chip cookie..My apatite is finally returning and I am able to keep down about 75% of all I eat .. I'm still only drinking lemonade and sweet tea. My dirty laundry pile is still continuing to swirl out of control. I almost all the clean laundry folded and put away.dont get to excited..the reason that part is done is because.. I'm LAZY I HATE LAUNDRY and almost everything in the house is dirty . EXCEPT the new clothes i bought on sale(clearance plus 50 % off ) so i didn't have to do laundry today .. I'm TERRIBLE i know. this is one of my worst habits(besides cussing and procrastinating). that maybe the reason i have so much laundry is cause i have a METRIC TON of clothing.. Oh well we all have our weaknesses and mine are shopping and crocheting.. our family also took a Staycation which you can read about HERE!!i hope you all have a good week.and that your homes are singing.. mine is humming at least..

  1. I'm so glad you're starting to feel better. Wooohoo! I'll bet it feels wonderful to begin to feel a bit like yourself again.

I don't mind folding laundry as I fold it when watching t.v., so it makes the time pass.

However, I don't like sorting it. I did buy different color laundry baskets in hopes that I could teach my family to "sort" it themselves into different colors, but I don't really have anywhere to put the laundry baskets. (Once my mom moved in we had to give her some space, of course).

So my problem is I delay the sorting, which is silly because it doesn't take long at all. And doing it doesn't take long, and folding doesn't take long. Still I delay, lol!

    Thanks for linking up today!

  4. Glad that your home is humming! Hope that you continue to feel better and stronger. Your preschool routine sounds great! I'm a weird one that likes laundry too! But I find it helpful to do is "doses", which usually means a load or two a day to keep the mountain down some! Have a great day.

  5. Glad to hear that you are feeling better and that you are establishing a routine. I think we all have a chore that we hate. Mine is cleaning the bathroom. Ugh!!! Oh and I am a terrible procrastinator, too. I keep thinking I'll get better. But I'm not so sure about it these days ;)
