Aloha Friday

So my question this week is ..
Have any of you mommies ever gotten (PUPPP) ( pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy ) or polymorphic eruption of pregnancy.?? I developed this today.. so now i have a whole set of P related pregnancy related complications.. i  also have Placental PREVIA, PREECLAMSIA and PUPPP.. and if you have HAD IT. what did you do to treat it ? my Dr gave me a oral steroid.

    i know what placental previa is but other than that i have no clue! But here's a good web there's lots of info in there if you need more than just what your doc says: http://www.babycenter.com i guess this is the correct site.. check in there and see if it helps in any way. There's many pregnant ladies i know that are using that web. But the doc must be more reliable i guess!

    Sorry, haven't heard of that. I did get gestational diabetes with my second child. I hope you get all better soon! :0)

    Wow, that sure is a lot of P related issues - I am so sorry! I have never had any of those things. The only complications I had was I didn't dialate AT ALL no matter what we did so I had 2 c-sections.

    Sorry to say that I have never heard of PUPPP. I wish you luck on getting through the rest of your pregnancy. I think you are due at about the same time as my SIL.

    I didn't get any of those but I've read about them when I was pregnant. I used to be afraid I'd get them.

    No, I didn't, but a friend of mine did. That was several years ago, though, so I don't remember what her treatment was, sorry. Best wishes, hope everything turns out all right.
