Aloha Friday

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday.
It's Aloha Friday over at An Island Life! Answer my question and make sure you post one on your blog! After that, go relax because today is Friday!!

So my question this week is What is the family Christmas tradition at your house?

We normally get up super early and open presents at our house then drive a mile to Dan's grandparents for breakfast then out to his moms 30 mins away for lunch and then to his dad's for supper.. it is CRAZY running around.. we all sleep good that night..

  1. Ours has really changed since losing my mom. We have a 2 year old now and really we don't know what we are doing christmas except enjoying it first with ourselves at home. After that, I don't know...changes each year.

  2. wow, were doing a different thing when we were still small. We would wake up in the middle of the night and eat a lot, pray and back to bed.

  3. We don't really have a tradition. It's just like a regular day , except with movies and hot chocolate and cookies and opening presents and praying and singing etc. :)

  4. As i said before, i guess lightening the Advent candles, listen to carols, baking all sorts of cookies, watching Christmas movies, and naturally decorating the tree and everything.. and idk what else.. these were the first things that came on my mind:)

  6. I do not think we have a Christmas tradition anymore. We use to go to my parents on Christmas day, but now that she gone, dad doesn't want us to continue. So now we are trying to make new ones.
    We mostly have Chunakah traditions.

  7. Well, since we are Jewish there are no Christmas traditions here. For Chanukah we usually get together with family and have a dinner together one night to light the menorah and have latkes.
