2.The old witch died so I offered to take the books myself.

3. Rushing out, i forgot my crochet bag..OMG the 12th commandment was broken.

4When I went to check my brew...I think I heard a howl!

5. Shhhh... I think i hear revenuers .(ppl who bust up illegal liquor stills..)

6. Im six months pregnant and craving onion rings so ..give me something good to eat!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to NO MORE RAIN, tomorrow my plans include Taking the kids trick or treating and having my birthday and Sunday, I want to "inspect"the kids loot removing all necessary dangerous candy and Disposing of it..(id never take it and eat it my self..HE HE... !

My question for this week is: Why is it when you try to help someone out and let them live with you doing house work in exchange for rent do they have to be so dam useless.??

I dont have a answer.. my sister is homeless , jobless and goin thru a divorce.. I am on bed rest due to pregnancy complications and the hubby and I agreed she could stay here IF she would the things I needed help with .. SO why is it every time I ask her to do something SHE gets an attidude and she acts like she owns the place I have to ask permission in MY own house to use MY computer and MY t.v,, ERRR,, I feel bad cause she is the only Family i Have left.. WHAT TO DO??

slow cooking thursday

I have 3 slow cooker recipes.. Pork Roast,Ham and Beans and Corn bread and BBQ Pulled Pork.. so this week we are having......

lol..ok sorry had to be a smart arse.. tomorrow is my 29th birthday so i m using my wit today .. maybe it is time to branch out and find some new recipes.




SO you put the roast in the crock pot with 1/2 cup of ketchup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup of cider vinegar and the seasoning packet above and pour the mixture on top and let it cook on high for 6-8 hrs.. the packet says a 3lb roast. hubby LOVES this .. i serve it on buns with dill pickles and potato chips ..

tacckle it tuesday

this week im tackling Tons of laundry on sunday i washed and dryied 12 loads and monday i worked on putting it all away and then after I brought the winter stuff in from the storage shed and cleaned out my suv( that was a all day job and a scarry one.. fit for halloween week.)on monday i had about 10 more to wash ,dry and put away , and to purge more summer stuff to the shed and some of it is baby stuff to get ready for Ellie's arrival.. so Im tackling LAUNDRY..also Im making my kids Halloween costumes this year.. miah is goin to be little red riding hood and gus the big (little) bad wolf..make sure to read more tuesday's here..

So my "nesting" is still in high gear. This week Ive not really had a lot to do other than the usual daily maintenance stuff like a few dishes and picking up the toys. I couldn't work on my massive pile of dirty laundry cause the dryer was dead.. OH and how that upset me..LOL.. OK you all know me better than that..on Friday the hubby got me a new dryer and this weekend we tackled all that laundry we washed and dried 12 loads in one day and after cleaning out my truck and bringing all the winter clothes from the shed and the stuff i purchased at yard sales id say i have about 10 more to go.. so tomorrow im putting away laundry and continuing to purge drawers.. It is amazing how fast kids out grow things.. Hubby laid most the floor in Gussy's room.. and helped me with the laundry and my truck is CLEAN... yay.. SO my house is still in tune.. i hope to get all the laundry caught up this week and to rearrange my living room.. hope you all are having a good week..

Ellie Update

Well I went to the doctor this morning and got to hear Ellie's heartbeat and he said she is growing properly. My Previa had moved from a complete to a posterior partial previa, So I am still on Moderate bed rest and not supposed to lifting more than 10 lbs.So if I follow my bed rest the doctor said the possibility of my having her really early are less than 10 % so I am hoping for a Healthy term baby .. My hypertension is starting up again hopefully that wont turn in to Preeclampsia like it did with Gus. Also he checked me and I am one and a half centimeters dilated at 24 weeks.. and he doesn't seem to concerned.. Every thing looked good and I will go back in a month unless something happens.. It was SO sweet to hear her little heart.. I cant wait to meet her..

So what works for me is keeping my house clean.. not spotless that aint happening i have a 3 yr old and one year old and am on bed rest. But doing a little every day .. it is easier to keep it up that way..

I learned they might need to be a size larger and to rethink my Velcro attaching position. BUT here it is. my feeble attmept .. but these are the things you learn by being a mom.. what does and dont work. Motherhood is on the job training no book or class can really prepare you..

Ellies FULL name..-A BIG UPDATE!!!

 well we have changed our minds.. well kinda.. We are goin to name her Ellieannah Danielle. so no more Ellie ruth mae.. And if everything goes as planned we get to meet her on January 22nd. 2010 Unless she comes sooner..


Well i FINALLY got my hubby to help me decide Ellie's Middle Name.. SO here it is..

and she shall be named....



ELLIE RUTH-MAE

Ellie is a family name my grandparents last name was Elliott and my grandma Elliott's name and BOTH Dan's grandmothers are named Ruth. and Mae cause.. that is the month of my dad's birthday.. interestingly enought my grandma's name was Ruth Fay Elliott and we are naming our little girl Ellie Ruth-Mae .. I like that about her name.. I LOVE her name and CANT wait to meet her..

Well "mom's" post about over sleeping must have been written to me.I'm am the night owl mom who is up till 2-3am then sleeps till around 7 gets my 3 yr old up , dressed for school so daddy can take her and then hops back in bed till about 11am.. and sometimes i take a nap in the afternoon when my 22 month old does.. he is a late sleeper.. but I get A LOT done after they go to bed.. I mop and put away my laundry .. I can so much done with out a bunch of munchkins wreaking havoc .. But i love them.. now on to my post..

My house is SINGING.. I guess I am nesting.. IS it to early to be nesting at 23 weeks? YES i know I am on bed rest BUT.. even though my sister is doing some to help she doesn't do it MY way .. So starting Thursday I began CLEANING.. I rearranged my kids room (they share) threw away 3 bags of broken toys, torn books and etc out of their room.. changed the sheets, and sorted
and organized their toys.. did good sweep, vacuum and deep mopping of their floor.. and lay ed all the hard toys out and sanitized them and put all the stuffed animals in the dryer to kill anything on them and then fa-breezed the room.. then i swept and mopped the hall and sorted the dirty laundry in the bathroom, cleaned out from under the sink .. scrubbed the toilet and tub and sink and counter, refilled the toilet paper holder.. replaced the hand towels dusted the shelf above the toilet and wash four loads of laundry washed dried and put away.. the you know that MASSIVE pile of clean laundry Ive been blogging about for the last few months.. YES *GASP * It is all folded and put away.. Ive organized the kitchen , pantry and Swept and mopped . and the living room and I vacuumed the bedroom and changed our sheets and I even found time to sew up a few cloth diapers for Ellie . I even did more purging of the dresser drawers and brought in more winter and baby clothes to fill them up .. Now .. i still have a baby blanket to finish crocheting and more laundry to wash and dry but for the most part this house is FINALLY in order.. maybe this week i will rest some.. I have a doctors appointment on Thursday.
Hope you all have a good week. and get alot acomplished.. maybe i will go to bed early tonight like MIDNIGHT..lol..

works for me wednesday

well i ve been under the weather and now on bed-rest so what do i do. I sit on the couch and fold laundry and crochet of-course.. But to day .. I *gasp* actually got off the couch.. well sorta i took one cushing with me placed it on the floor in my kids room on the only clean spot there.. and started sorting clothes and toys..and created MORE laundry but i did get all the trash and broken toys and dirty hidden sippy cups out of there and clean sheets on both beds and toys sorted to whom they belong and organized. Below are the pics of my work.. I also tacked my table in the kitchen and got all the groceries put away in the pantry, cleaned the toys out of my living room and in the kids room where they belong. i picked up the other clutter and swept and mopped the kitchen, livingroom, hall and bathroom. I Still have a TON of laundry do wash and some dish's to do but i feel acomplished.. maybe im nesting??

Well my father in law has a beautiful farm not more than a quarter of a mile away and his girlfriend and my close friend "Rosie" is a awesome decorator so when i look at our check book and realized if i wanted fall pics of the kids id better break out my camera and i had the perfect fall place to take them at IF only those children would cooperate.. the chance of that happening were..







SLIM to NONE.. but at least i got some good black mail pics to use when they are older right..LOL

but eventually i got a few decent shots..

Tackle it tuesday..

This week I have "tackled " several problem spots in my house with the assistance of my sister. I am on bedrest due to a complication with my pregnancy and my sister who is going thru a divorce has moved in to help me with the kid and house. Last night She braved the "hidy Hole' between my fridge and stove.. and OH the things we found.. like all my oven mitts and a few wooden spoons and the long lost cord to my fry daddy.. The other major thing we are tackling this week is LAUNDRY .. whom I have declared my ARCH NEMESIS she is washing and drying and i am laying on the couch folding so she can put it way. I was teasing her that I felt almost like one of those "real house wife's" on t.v you know the "STAY AT HOME MOM" who has a cook, maid, nanny and butler. i wonder to my self what the heck do they do all day if they dont have to do all the stuff us REAL house wives do??? ok well im goin to get off my soap box now and go back to resting.. hope you have a wonderful tuesday.. be sure to check out other "tuesdays" HERE

so for a while i have been making cloth diapers for gus. and after learning i was expecting a girl this time i could not wait to purchase pink diaper material soo.. here are the pics of Ellie's material and some is gus's im working on..I love the money saving of cloth diapers.. I just wish I could afford to buy some AIO Cloth diapers like Fuzzi Bunz or could test or review a new brand.. but for now i m doing it my self with good old fashions diaper pins.. and plastic pants for covers .. let me know what you think ..
SO I FOUND 2 FUZZI BUNZ AT A YARDSALE FOR $5 AND I LOVE THEM . I ALSO ORDERED SOME OFFLINE AT SWEET DOLL BABY FOR $7 EACH. I LIKE THEM AS WELL.. AND HERE IS A PIC OF MY DIAPER I MADE WITH VELCRO AND ELASTIC
